The Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish County

Jan and his wife Lorrie are supporters of the Snohomish County Boys and Girls Club. They worked hard to help bring the club to their area in Lake Stevens, and they were also involved in raising money for and building a playground, now called the Kids’ Oasis. The Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish County was established in 2004, and it has large modern technology rooms as well as a large, bustling sports area.

Lake Stevens Aquafest

Jan has served as a board member and President for the Lake Stevens Aquafest, a community event that aims to bring fun and celebrate area businesses. It started in 1960 and has continued to grow as an annual event. The event is staffed and supported by volunteers and sponsors in the community.

Kiwanis Club of Lake Stevens

Jan has served as a board member and President for the local Kiwanis Club. The Kiwanis Club, founded in 1924, is dedicated to the improvement of social interactions and relationships, as well as providing a means to form friendships and be involved in the community.

Everett Golf and Country Club

Jan has served on the board and as President of the Everett Golf and Country Club (Everett G&CC). The club is a private facility that offers a golf course, dining options, and relaxation choices to its members. Their clubhouse is the fourth oldest in the state, and it has hosted senators and golf champions in its past.

Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce

Jan is a Past President of the Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce. The chamber works with the local community in order to give a voice to business owners regarding the region, while promoting the community and supporting efforts locally, regionally and nationally.

National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Snohomish County

Jan is a Past President of the Snohomish County chapter of NAIFA. NAIFA was founded in 1980, and is one of the oldest organizations dedicated to representing the interests of insurance professionals. They have a representative from every Congressional district in the U.S.

Lake Stevens Food Bank

Jan’s wife Lorrie is an active volunteers for the Lake Stevens Food Bank.
